Well, I missed February all together, unless you consider reading food/beer menus in the city meaningful literature.

This March read is a book that has been meaning to be read for years and has finally got the attention it well deserves. Thanks to my pal Bonnie for lending it to me yonks ago – The Other Boleyn Girl was a brilliant read. I flew through the 650 pages of historical fiction, which says a lot for someone who normally doesn’t go for that kind of genre. Philippa Gregory does a fantastic job bringing the past to life with her exceptional character development and imagery. I haven’t seen the movie, but doubt it was able to capture all that was in the book.
